Harts Pass, Short and sweet hike is pretty much what this was, I think the most important part was i drank a whole pot of coffee black all by myself…lol no not really the most important part. We couldn’t reach the end of the road, so we went as far as we could, parked and hike about 2 miles up to the lookout, we had intended to go further onto buckskin ridge but there was still quite a bit of snow up there, so we sat up there on top for awhile soaking up the sunshine and the unbelievable views, for my very first trip up there it was incredible, I knew it would not be my last, as scary as the drive up there was.

Swakane Canyon
June, 11th 2011
Swakane Canyon, there was still just too much snow in the mountains for us to hike, if I remember correctly we were dying to get out and hike, so we settled on what I call the Wenatchee hills, it was already pretty dry up there, we headed up on a old road, stayed on it till we seen what I named the sleeping dragon, I am fascinated by rocks, this rock formation I still think is cool. The grass and what flowers were left were tall, dry and slightly sticky, it was a good hike, the views were spectacular.
Arbuckle Mountain
April 16th 2011
Arbuckle Mountain, No trail, just a scrambled hike off hwy 97 right on the property line of a guy we were to chicken to get permission to cross his land. Once we got up off the hwy and off the guys property line it started looking up, very beautiful up there, we picked our way up and around some hills, aspen groves, wild flowers galore and some beautiful rock formations
